PM Oli will continue to conspire until his downfall, says Prachanda

KATHMANDU: Chairman of the Prachanda-Nepal faction of the Nepal Communist Party, Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” has alleged Prime Minister KP Oli of being a conspirator.

Demanding Prime Minister Oli’s resignation on moral grounds after the Supreme Court’s decision to reinstate the House of Representatives, Prachanda asked, “How could he continue to stick to power despite the SC’s order?”

Addressing a program in Kathmandu on Monday, Prachanda labeled PM Oli as “rigid”, while demanding his resignation at the earliest.

Stating that PM Oli was trying to impose a state of emergency in the country, Prachanda said, “PM Oli is not even a general member of the party. Therefore, he does not deserve to be the country’s Prime Minister.”

He added that PM Oli would continue to conspire against the Prachanda-Nepal faction until his downfall.

Chairman Prachanda also claimed that his faction would get the ‘sun’ as an election symbol.

Prachanda added that like the setting in the Supreme Court, the setting in the Election Commission (EC) will also be dismantled and his faction would be declared authentic by the EC soon.

“Evidence suggests that the ‘setting’ at the EC is also deteriorating; the Commission will grant us the official status and soon, it will declare the ‘Sun’ as ours. In a way, we have already got it,” Prachanda said.
