MOICS sets to operate online service for business promotion

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies is all set to operate online service for the promotion of trade and business in the country.

At an orientation on ‘Nepal Trade Information Portal’ organized by Trade and Export Promotion Center, it was shared that the government has initiated a process to promote business and enterprises through online platform.

The Centre’s Director Surendranath Gogal informed that the government is opting to run a portal to facilitate export of goods produced in the country.

The portal containing the information about domestic production would also provide data about annual trade deficit, he said.

“Those willing to promote their business online are allowed to post information about their 10 products in the portal free of cost”, he added. RSS
