NC’s sister organizations stage protest against HoR dissolution (photo feature)



KATHMANDU: As many as 13 sister organizations of the main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) staged demonstrations against the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR) across the country on Monday.

The sister organizations held demonstrations in all the 77 districts against the HoR dissolution, informed Bishwa Prakash Sharma, the spokesperson of the NC.

As per the decision of the Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting of the NC, sister organizations of the NC take out protest rallies in all the 77 districts today.

The main opposition party has accused the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) of heading towards the path of authoritarianism through the dissolution of the HoR.

It has alleged the Oli-led government of being indifferent to the existing corruption, failing to maintain good governance and control the COVID-19 pandemic.
