CHITWAN: Access to road has been expanded up to historical tourism site, Upardanggadhi, at Ichhakamana rural municipality-7 of Chitwan.
With the opening of a new road, people now can travel to Upardanggadhi from Bhorle of Bharatpur metropolis-29 along the Narayangarh-Muglin road section. New track has been connected to the road network so that people can travel to Upardanggadhi from Bhorle via Chaukidanda, Dahakhani, Sano Bhorle and Kape.
Chairperson of Ichhakamana rural municipality Geeta Kumari Gurung inaugurated the new road amidst a programme on Thursday. On the occasion, Gurung said the rural municipality has been successful in ensuring road access to all villages despite geographical complexities. Chair Gurung said that the rural municipality would work to ease daily livelihood of the people after the opening of new track. Ward chairperson Bam Bahadur Rana said now all the areas of ward-7 have come to the road access. (RSS)
