Woman’s body found in Bhaktapur



BHAKTAPUR: A body of woman has been found in the Hanumante Khola in Balkot of Bhaktapur.

A police team led by SP Sabin Pradhan of Metropolitan Police Range and SP Mukesh Kumar Singh of Metropolitan Police Crime Division recovered the body on Monday, police said.

The body has been beheaded. Police are looking for the head.

Preliminary investigation shows that the woman has been murdered somewhere else and brought near the Hanumante Khola in a plastic bag and abandoned at the site.

Police have initiated investigation to identify the woman.
