CIB submits probe report on Lalita Niwas land scam

KATHMANDU: The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has submitted its investigation report on Lalita Niwas land scam to the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The report has recommended action on those transferring the government land to individual ownership under corruption, dupery and forgery accusations.

The government on March 12, 2019, had assigned CIB for the investigation of the much-talked-about land scam.

Sources at CIB said that the report to the Home Ministry through Nepal Police Headquarters.
