Nepal Mediciti Hospital performs health checkup of 500 locals in Haleshi

KATHMANDU: Doctors at Nepal Mediciti Hospital have performed health checkups of some 500 locals in Khotang district.

A team comprising Cardiologist Dr. Deepak Mishra and gynecologist and general physician performed the health checkup of the locals in Tuwachung-11, Rajapani in the famous Haleshi area on Wednesday and Thursday.

Normal checkups, gynecological and heart checkups and consultation and treatment of different medical problems were provided from a single venue.

According to Cardiologist Mishra, small children to senior citizens participated in the health camp.

He informed that most of the locals were diagnosed with high blood pressure, adding that many visited the camp for gynecological diseases and normal health checkups.

The function was jointly organized by Haleshi Mayor Iban Rai and Dr. Mishra.

On the occasion, Dr. Mishra briefed locals about high blood pressure, heart attack and heart diseases.

Hospital’s General Manager Bijay Rimal expressed his happiness over providing health services to the locals in Haleshi that is located far from Kathmandu.

He added that the hospital was ready to continue such a program in the coming days.
