Kathmandu Valley logs 312 fresh COVID-19 cases

KATHMANDU: As many as 312 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 225 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 38 in Bhaktapur, and 49 in Lalitpur.

 Meanwhile, the country recorded a total of 534 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,60,593 in the country as of Thursday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 6,378 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 447 infected people got recovery from the virus infection. So far, 2,52,359 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, 9 persons succumbed to the virus across the country in the past 24 hours, hitting the total COVID-19 related deaths to 1,856.
