COVID-19 infected septuagenarian dies in Banke



DANG:  A coronavirus-infected man has died in the course of treatment at Nepalgunj Medical College in Banke district on Saturday morning.

According to Naresh Shrestha, the focal person of the district, a 70-year-old man from Ghorahi Sub Metropolitan City-4, Dang had been admitted to the hospital  on October 27.

The elderly had tested positive for coronavirus on the following day.

He was being treated at the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital and died in the course of treatment at 5 am today after his health condition deteriorated, said Shrestha.

With this, the number of COVID-19 deaths in the district has reached 48 with 11 from outside the district.
