India’s COVID-19 cases cross 8.1 million

KATHMANDU: India recorded 48,120 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 8,136,166.

Currently, 583,574are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 7,430,911 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 121,600-mark.

With 550 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 121,681, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
