Dr. Bhola Rijal tests coronavirus positive



KATHMANDU: Senior Gynecologist Dr. Bhola Rijal and his wife Dr. Sarala Ghimire have been in the list of the people who tested coronavirus positive in Nepal.

According to the HAMS Hospital sources, the couple has been admitted to HAMS Hospital in Dhumbarahi after testing coronavirus positive on Saturday.

Dr. Rijal confirmed the news and assured that he is fine and has not developed any symptoms yet.

” After finding ourselves coronavirus on Saturday, we have taken to isolation in HAMS Hospital,” Dr. Rijal told Khabarhub, ” our health is normal and will recover soon.”

Hinting at the news about the misbehaviour towards the medics, he appealed all to respect the service the medics are providing putting their own lives at risk.

Likewise, Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Bidya Sundar Shakya, has also tested coronavirus positive today.

The number of coronavirus cases in Nepal are at rise every day.

The country saw 899 cases on Monday taking the coronavirus case tally to 39,460 till date.
