COVID-19: NA manages 64 dead bodies in Kathmandu Valley so far



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Army (NA) has managed the dead bodies of 64 COVID-19 infected in Kathmandu Valley so far.

So far, 39 dead bodies in Kathmandu, 18 in Lalitpur and seven in Bhaktapur have been managed, said NA Spokesperson Santosh Ballav Poudel.

Spokesperson Poudel said that the dead bodies were cremated at the electric crematorium at Pashupati Aryaghat.

According to Spokesperson Poudel, the national army has deployed 1,332 personnel to manage the corpses across the country.

A total of 228 people have died of the coronavirus across the country as of Monday afternoon.
