KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is going to issue treasury bill of Rs 3.13 billion for 91 days.
Bidding for the bill that will be issued on Wednesday will be held on Monday at 3 p.m. This treasury will mature on November 23.
Treasury bills are short-term government bonds used to raise internal debt for less than one year. The bill is sold to mobilize resources for a maximum of one year.
Provision can be made to acquire treasury bill certificate before the payment date, statutory liquidity ratio, permanent liquidity facility and interbank transactions. In the case of an individual, it will also be possible to take a loan from a bank or financial institution by pledging a certificate of the treasury bill.
