Jagadamba Enterprises CEO dies of coronavirus

KATHMANDU: The Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Jagadamba Enterprises has passed away due to coronavirus pandemic.

According to Dr. Niraj Kumar Singh, the In-charge of Corona Hospital Birgunj, the CEO of Jagadamba Enterprises died of coronavirus pandemic on Thursday night. He was 56.

Singh claimed that his condition was critical when he was rushed to Corona Hospital.

“He was a heart patient, and was in critical condition due to COVID-19,” said Dr. Singh said, adding “He was being treated on ventilator as the amount of oxygen in his body was too less. He died at 11 pm on Thursday night.”

The deceased CEO was an Indian citizen living in Birgunj Metropolitan City-11, Shreepur.

Earlier,he had also undergon heart surgery before. He was admitted to Temporary Corona Special Hospital Gandak, on July 22 after being diagnosed with coronavirus on July 21.

According to Hospital sources, three including the Jagadamba CEO have died at Coronavirus Hospital last night.

The other deceased include a 35-year-old male of Birgunj-16, Nagawa and a 65-year-old male of Birgunj-2, Chhapkaiya.
