Bus-hit claims police constable in Chitwan



CHITWAN: A police head constable has died after being hit by a passenger bus.

The deceased has been identified as head constable Arjun Kumar Thapa who was working at Area Police Office, Bhandara, said District Police Office, Chitwan.

Thapa was hit by a passenger bus while he was heading to his office on Thursday evening.

Critically injured Thapa died in the course of treatment at Old Medical College Bharatpur.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the bus and bus driver under control.

The dead body has been kept at Bharatpur Hospital.
