Provide food to daily wage earners, laborers: SC



KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court (SC) on Monday ordered the government to provide food to daily wage earners, laborers, poor and the needy people.

Responding to a writ filed by Advocate Bishnu Luitel, a single bench of Justice Vishwombhar Prasad Shrestha ordered all the three tiers of government to provide food and relief in coordination.

The apex court maintained that the government should provide relief as the daily wage earners, laborers have been deprived of foods due to the lockdown.
