88,000 gas cylinders distributed in three days



KATHMANDU: At the time when people are complaining of the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders shortage, the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has claimed that it has distributed 88,000 cylinders in three days.

According to Spokesperson at NOC, Binit Mani Upadhyaya, 87,630 LPG cylinders were distributed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

As per the NOC record, 33,658 gas cylinders on Friday, 14,108 on Saturday and 39,864 gas cylinders were distributed on Sunday.

Similarly, NOC has directed gas industries to distribute half-filled cylinders from Sunday onwards to meet the escalating demand.
