KATHMANDU: With a view to informing the people about the government initiatives against COVID-19 and make the control and prevention actions more systematic, the Ministry of Health and Population on Sunday started a website and mobile app.

Minister for Health and Population Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal marked the beginning of the www.covid.mohp.gov.np and Hamro Swyastha Mobile App.

Along with the mobile app, the Ministry has also brought its Viber Community in use for the public to access information about the deadly COVID-19.

On the occasion, Minister Dhakal said that such provisions were initiated to provide information and notices on COVID-19 in an integrated manner as well as the available health care services managed to combat the coronavirus pneumonia.

He also requested the public not to panic since the government was working with top priority to fight against the deadly corona virus.
