Group-wise discussions complete in NCP Central Committee meeting

KATHMANDU: Central members of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) on Thursday concluded a group-wise discussion on the political report jointly prepared by chairmen of the party.

The deliberations on the political dossier, organizational dossier and statue amendment proposal took place by dividing CC members into 15 groups in alphabetical order.

During a meeting on Friday, the team leaders of the entire group will be presenting a conclusion of the deliberations.

Chairman KP Oli had inaugurated the CC meeting in which another chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal presented the political report of the party at the Central Committee (CC) meeting that kicked off at City Hall in the capital on Wednesday.

Similarly, General Secretary Bishnu Paudel had tabled a constitution amendment proposal in the meeting.

The political dossier has proposed to hold its general convention from April 7-12 in 2021.
