4 Indian nat’ls die after being buried by stack of scraps

RUPANDEHI: Four people have died after being buried by a stack of sacks filled with scraps that fell over them at Siddhartha Municipality-6 on Thursday.

The deceased have been identified as 30-year-old Indian national Sahajad Husein, his wife Saddhab Khatun, two-year-old daughter Sahina Khatun and six-year-old son Sultan Raja, confirmed Police Inspector Keshav Gyawali of District Police Office, Rupandehi.

The incident took place when the stack of scraps collected by themselves caved in and fell over them in their rented room today.

The victims were originally from Baliya in Bihar State of India.

Police said they are investigating the case.
