COVID-19 vaccine will be available for 72 pc population once certified: Minister Dhakal



CHITWAN: Minister for Health and Population Bhanubhakta Dhakal has committed to providing COVID-19 vaccines to 72 percent population of the country.

While laying the foundation stone for the construction of buildings for emergency service and communicable disease hospital here today, Minister Dhakal shared that the vaccine had not been tested for children under the age of 14 therefore it should be awaited.

He added that the vaccines would be made available soon after the WHO certifies it. Minister Dhakal also claimed that the government’s efforts to contain COVID-19 pandemics were effective and result-oriented as well.

The buildings are being constructed for a 50- bed hospital for communicable disease and a 50-bed hospital for trauma service.
