Govt has started revolution in health sector: Minister Aryal

SYANGJA: Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Padma Aryal said that development would not be based on access but on need.

Minister Aryal said so while laying the foundation stone for hospitals in Galyang-1, Malunga, Waling, and Bhirkot on Monday.

Minister Aryal said, “Development does not happen on the basis of access. Development happens where it is needed.”

Stating that the present government has moved forward as a model government, she said that the current government is moving faster than the previous one on the path of development.

She said that the development would be done in coordination with the federal, state, and local governments by classifying the development.

“The government is moving at a rapid pace. It’s not ours, it’s the international assessment,” she said.

Stating that today is a historic day in the health sector, Minister Aryal said that the laying of foundation stones for 396 hospitals across the country at once was a historic event.

She said, “Today, foundation stones are being laid for 396 local level hospitals on the same day. The construction of such a large number of hospitals is a revolution in the health sector. The government has announced the beginning of a revolution in the health sector.”

Stating that efficient manpower and modern facilities will be provided along with the physical infrastructure, Minister Aryal said that health will be easily accessible to every citizen.
