Two arrested in Parsa for ‘raping’ children



BIRGUNJ: Parsa Police has cuffed two individuals for their alleged involvement in raping minor girls in two different places of Parsa.

According to the police, Tej Shankar Chaudhary of Sukhawaprasauni-2 and Umesh Thakur of Bindabasini-4 Amarpatti Parsa have  been nabbed for allegedly raping two minors of their respective villages.

According to SP Ganga Panta, Chaudhary had raped a four-year-old girl of his village promising her a coconut and Thakur had sexually abused a six-year-old minor of his own neighborhood.

SP Pant informed the children’s health has been checked up and both are in good health now.

Police have initiated further investigation into the case after filing cases against Chaudhary and Thakur.

Parsa Police has got 15 cases of rape registered in the first four months of the current fiscal year.
