16 more succumb to COVID-19, Nepal’s death toll reaches 920

KATHMANDU: A total of 16 people died of the coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus death toll has reached 920 as of Friday afternoon with the new deaths.

Similarly, as many as 3,517 people have been diagnosed coronavirus positive in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal’s COVID-19 has reached 168,235 with the fresh cases as of Friday afternoon.

Altogether 14,989 sample tests were conducted across the country in the past 24 hours.

A total of 4,096 individuals got discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours while the number of people winning the battle against the virus reached 128,958 in the country.

The recovery rate stands at 76.7 percent. Nepal currently has 38,357 active cases.
