Tarun Dal distributes COVID-19 safety kits to health workers

KATHMANDU: As part of the program organized to celebrate its 68th anniversary, Nepal Tarun Dal has distributed health safety materials including mask, PPE and face shield to the medics working in Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital today.

According to Tarun Dal, the democratic youth organization affiliated to the main opposition party Nepali Congress has handed over 4000 masks, 30 pcs PPE, and 52 face shields among many others to the medics of the hospital.

Speaking about the rationale behind the donation, Jit Jung Basnet, the Chairman of Nepal Tarun Dal said that the donation is the gesture of affirmative nods to the medics working in the frontline in the battle against coronavirus
pandemic.

“We just want to tell the medics and others staking their lives for the life of others in this battle against COVID-19 that we esteem them high and are ever thankful for their service,” Basnet said in the program.
