Kathmandu Valley records 73,103 COVID-19 cases so far

52,709 recover from the pandemic



KATHMANDU: The number of coronavirus infections in the Kathmandu Valley has reached 73,103.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there are 20,066 active cases in the Kathmandu Valley (Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur).

Similarly, 52,709 persons have been recovered from the pandemic virus.

The death toll has reached 328 in the Valley, the ministry said.

Similarly, the number of coronavirus infections in Kathmandu has reached 59,234. Out of these, 42,504 have been recovered.

There are 16,521 active cases in Kathmandu. Out of them, 10,510 are staying in home isolation, according to the ministry.

The death toll from the pandemic in Kathmandu district has reached 209.

Likewise, the number of COVID-19 infections in Bhaktapur has reached 5,519. Out of them, 4,383 have been cured.

The number of active cases is 1,075 in the district. Out the active cases, 719 are in home isolation, while 61 persons have died of the virus.

The number of coronavirus infected people in Lalitpur has reached 8,350. The number of those who have recovered has reached 5,822. Similarly, 2,470 persons are actively infected. Of which, 2,363 are in home isolation.

The death toll from the infection in Lalitpur has reached 58, according to the ministry.

Meanwhile, the number of infections has reached 164,718 in the country. The number of those who have recovered is 124,862.

The number of actively infected people has reached 38,952. So far, 904 persons have died from the pandemic virus.
