MYAGDI: A minor girl died and 10 others sustained injuries in a jeep accident at Ratopahiro in Myagdi district.
The deceased has been identified as 10-year-old Riya BK of Annapurna rural municipality-2, said District Police Office, Myagdi.
Critically injured Riya was pronounced dead as soon as she brought to Beni Hospital for treatment, said Police Inspector Daktar Prasad Chaudhari.
The incident took place when the ill-fated jeep was heading towards Beni from Ratopahiro.
The condition of jeep driver 30-year-old Nanda Bahadur Chhantyal is said to be critical, said police. He has been sent to Pokhara for further treatment.
The injured are receiving treatment at Beni Hospital.
