500 Nepalis infected with COVID-19 in Romania



BUCHAREST: Around 500 Nepali nationals have tested positive for COVID-19 in European country Romania.

The condition of two among those infected is said to be critical. Some Nepalis have returned home after treatment from hospitals while over 150 are in home isolation.

Most of the hospitals in Bucharest have been chock-a-block with COVID-19 patients.

According to Nawa Raj Pokharel, Nepali Ambassador to Romania, all the 42 Nepali migrant workers working at Total Auto Service Company have been confirmed with COVID-19 cases.
