Two COVID-19 infected persons die in Rupandehi and Kapilbastu



BUTWAL: A coronavirus infected person has died at the Butwal-based Corona Special Hospital this morning.

Corona Focal Person at the Hospital, Dr Sudarshan Thapa said the 55-year-old male from Devdaha Municipality-11 died at 10 am today in course of treatment.

He was admitted at Lumbini Provincial Hospital on September 27 after health problem and tested positive for coronavirus when PCR test was conducted on him at the hospital.

Then he was admitted to the ICU of Corona Special Hospital. He was suffering from kidney and blood problem.

With this latest casualty, the number of people dead due to COVID-19 at the Corona Special Hospital has reached 20.

Similarly, a 50-year-old woman of Buddhabhumi Municipality-1 in Kapilbastu has died of coronavirus infection at Bhairahawa Medical College at 3.30 am today.

She was suffering from thyroid, diabetes, pneumonia and other conditions. She was hospitalized after she became sick. PCR test was conducted on her on September 21, and she tested positive for coronavirus.

With this the number of people dead due to coronavirus infection in Kapilbastu has reached 12. RSS
