50-year-old succumbs to coronavirus in Biratnagar



BIRATNAGAR: A 50-year-old male undergoing treatment at the Biratnagar-based Nobel Teaching Hospital has succumbed to coronavirus on Wednesday morning.

According to Narayan Dahal, the public relation officer at the hospital, the patient from Harinagari-2 of Sunsari breathed his last at around 7.30 am this morning.

Dahal said the male was admitted to the hospital on September 25 after he complained of respiratory complication.

The male was found coronavirus positive on Monday and was receiving treatment on a ventilator in the hospital.

With this the number of coronavirus death in Province 1 has reached 70.
