India’s COVID-19 death toll crosses 97,000-mark

KATHMANDU: India recorded 80,500 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 6,223,519.

Currently, 941,356 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 5,184,634 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 97,000-mark.

With 1,178 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 97,529, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
