Bharatpur Metropolis operates isolation center

BHARATPUR: The Bharatpur Metropolitan City has launched a COVID-19 isolation center in cooperation with the Yogi Naraharinath Yoga and Naturopathy on Sunday.

The isolation center established at the Homeopathy Office of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-1 has a total of 75 beds.

Inaugurating the center, Mayor Renu Dahal said the infected people in the first phase would be treated through yoga and naturopathy.

“People infected with coronavirus within the metropolis will be given priority. The service will be gradually extended to other areas,” Dahal added.

Mayor Dahal also urged people to extend a helping hand in the management of the infected ones.

The metropolis bears expenses on food, repair and other technical aspects while the hospital manages yoga, meditation and treatment for the infected people.

Likewise, hospital chief Dr Hemraj Koirala said that the infected people who have not shown symptoms would be treated through naturopathy at the hospital.

The infected people would be administered natural diet, yoga, meditation and exercise, he said.

Fifteen health workers are available for the care of the infected people.
