KATHMANDU: A soldier in duty at the Bhadrakali-based petrol pump of Nepal Army has shot himself dead at around 3 am.
According to NA spokesperson Santosh Ballav Paudel, a soldier on duty at Bhadrakali has shot at his temple leading to instant death.
“The soldier killed himself while on duty at the Bhadrakali based Petrol Pump at around 3 am,” the spokesperson said, “Nepal Police and Army Police have been investigating the incident to find out further details.”
He was from Ranipokhari, Tanahu.
His body has been taken to hospital for postmortem.
