NAWALPUR: A man from East Nawalparasi succumbed to the coronavirus while undergoing treatment in Chitwan on Saturday.

A 62-year-old man from Binai Triveni Rural Municipality-6 died while undergoing treatment at the Bharatpur-based Chitwan Medical College at 5:50 pm yesterday, according to the hospital administration.

He was admitted to the hospital for treatment on August 20 after suffering from high fever and respiratory problems and was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit after being diagnosed coronavirus positive.
