24 test positive in swabs collected at Kathmandu Valley checkpoints

KATHMANDU: A total of 24 samples out of 3,473 collected at different checkpoints for entering Kathmandu Valley have tested positive for coronavirus.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the swabs were collected from Sanga, Nagdhunga and Pharping checkpoints.

The ministry said that arrangements have been made for swab collection at the checkpoints as the number of people entering Kathmandu Valley has increased with the end of the lockdown.
