Nepali national found dead in Malaysia



JOHOR BAHRU: A man, believed to be a Nepali national, was found dead on the five-foot way of a business premises in Indahpura, near Kulai of Malaysia.

Kulai district police chief Supt Tok Beng Yeow said the police were alerted of the body at about 4.20 am and checks conducted by a forensic team found the victim had bled from the month and there were bruises on his face.

Police did not find any object or weapon at the scene, but did not rule out that the victim was involved in a fight prior to his death, he said in a statement today.

However, following a post-mortem report by the Sultanah Aminah Hospital, it was found that the man died due to blunt force trauma on the abdomen.

“Acting on information, the police then arrested three Nepali men, aged between 27 and 37, between 11.30 am and 12.30 pm on Tuesday at Jalan Seroja 4, Indahpura Industrial Area and Jalan Teratai 36/43 Indahpura, Kulai, to facilitate investigation,” he added.
