KATHMANDU: Both domestic and international flights will remain banned until July 22 in Nepal.

A cabinet meeting held on Monday evening took a decision to this effect by extending the ongoing lockdown until July 22.

According to the secretariat of the Ministry of Defense, the international flights and border checkpoints will also remain banned.

Similarly, the meeting has made the local government’s recommendation mandatory for entering into the Kathmandu Valley.

The government from now onwards will allow into the capital only those who carry a recommendation letter from the respective local unit.
