4.8-magnitude earthquake jolts Kathmandu Valley

KATHMANDU: A mild tremor measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale jolted Kathmandu Valley and adjoining districts on Saturday night.

According to the National Seismological Center (NSC), an earthquake measuring 4.8-magnitude with epicenter in Dhading was recorded at 9:36 pm.

There are no reports of damage and human casualty.

It was an aftershock of the 2015 Gorkha Earthquake, the center stated.
