Cabinet to discuss lockdown, rescue of stranded Nepalis



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Council of Ministers has been summoned for 5 pm on Saturday.

The meeting to be held at Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar is said to discuss the issues related to the rescuing of Nepalis stranded abroad and lockdown.

A meeting of High-Level Coordination Committee for the Prevention and Control of COVID-19 held on Friday had decided to repatriate Nepalis in urgency to return,

The country is under lockdown since March 24 that is ending on June 2.
