72 Nepalis enter Nepal by swimming Mahakali River

DARCHULA: As many as 72 Nepalis have entered the country by swimming in the Mahakali River.

After being stranded in Dharchula of India, they entered the country by risking their lives.

Similarly, 16 Nepalis have successfully arrived in their native village using the tube in the river on Wednesday. A tube operator takes charge of Rs 1600 per person.

According to Surendra Prasad Joshi, Information Officer at District Police Office of Darchula district, 211 Nepalis have arrived to the district before April 19.

A team led by Chief District Officer Yadhunath Poudel has investigated the border areas after it is said that many Nepalis are trying to enter the country.
