Dahal-Nepal camp, too, initiate signature campaign



KATHMANDU: No sooner had Prime Minister KP Oli initiated a signature campaign of lawmakers close to him, the disgruntled faction of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) led by senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has followed-suit by initiating signature campaign of lawmakers.

This means that both the factions are hell-bent on proving their majority. “We, too, have initiated a signature campaign to prove our majority,” a lawmaker from the leader Nepal camp said insisting anonymity.

Senior leader Nepal and party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has joined hands to oust Prime Minister Oli of late.

The signature campaign comes at a time when the NCP is holding the meeting of its Secretariat on Wednesday evening.
