Balen visits Janaki Temple ahead of Janakpur rally



JANAKPURDHAM: Senior leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Balendra Shah (Balen), who arrived in Janakpurdham on Sunday evening, visited Janaki Temple on Monday morning for worship.

Shah, in Janakpur to address the RSP’s public meeting scheduled for Monday, was accompanied by former MP Dr. Amaresh Singh during his visit to the temple, where they offered prayers and performed worship.

Dr. Singh is preparing to join the party at the ‘Pariwartan Udghosh Sabha,’ which will be addressed by RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane and senior leader Shah.

Before the meeting, Balen is also scheduled to visit Lahan in Siraha to pay tribute to Ramesh Mahato, the first martyr of the Madhesh movement. Every year, on Magh 5 (January 19), the Madhesh region observes the Day of Sacrifice to honor those who lost their lives during the Madhesh movement.
