Seven rape cases reported in Kapilbastu in a month

KAPILBASTU: A total of seven complaints of rape have been reported in Kapilbastu in one month, the Kapilbastu Police said.

The cases reported have taken place during the lockdown period.

According to District Police Office spokesman Sunil Malla, seven cases of rape have been registered in the court.

Most of the girls have been sexually assaulted by relatives or their acquaintances, Malla said.

So far, a total of 26 rape cases have been registered in the district in the current fiscal year.
