NPHL only tests 917 sample in three months



KATHMANDU: The National Public Health Laboratory (NPHL) has tested only 917 person’s swab tests in three months.

Speaking at the press briefing today, Spokesperson at Ministry of Health and Population Dr Bikash Devkota informed that only 917 sample tests have been conducted so far in the suspicion of coronavirus.

Out of 917 tests, 912 tests have negative results while only five tests diagnosed positive.

He said that 12 people were admitted on Sunday to the isolation ward of various hospitals.

Five people have been at Teku Hospital. Out of five, two have been infected with the pandemic virus.

Likewise, 6 people were admitted to Patan Hospital while one is at Kanti Children Hospital.
