11-bed quarantine set up at Daduwa rural municipality

BANKE: Duduwa rural municipality in Banke has set up an 11-bed quarantine at Betahani health post.

Dhan Bahadur Budha, health section coordinator at the rural municipality said, in addition to the establishment of quarantine, massive public awareness was launched to contain the possible outbreak of the coronavirus.

He said efforts were on to establish quarantines at Hirminiya of Ward No 6 and Kamdi of Ward No 4.

The people are often urged with public announcement to not leave home and maintain personal hygiene and sanitation, according to Narendra Kumar Chaudhary, Chairperson of the rural municipality.

Likewise, some 2700 households at Ward No 18 of Nepalgunj sub metropolis have been distributed face masks and soap.
