State-2 launches ‘Girls in Tech’ project

JANAKPURDHAM: Chief Minister of State-2, Lalbabu Raut, and Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Affair, Rameshwor Ray Yadav today jointly inaugurated ‘Girls in Tech’ project in State-2.

The project, aimed at educating and empowering girls in order to end gender discrimination, has been launched under the Skill for Employment Program assisted by the UKAid.

Around 100 students from poor families would be provided scholarships.

Leadership training would be provided to the girls for enhancing their confidence and competitiveness under the project.

The girls graduating from this campaign would be the first beneficiaries of the project.

Likewise, it is also expected to create an environment for skilled human resources to get jobs.
