JANAKPUR: A couple died in a road accident at Ganesh Man Charnath municipality of Dhanusha district today.
The couple — Jogendra Sah, 50, of Charnath-6 and his wife Pramila, 40 — died on the spot when a jeep (Sa 1 Cha 1858) hit the motorbike (Ba 64 Pa 3048) they were riding on, police said.
Their nine-year-old son John, who sustained injuries, is undergoing treatment at a local hospital, DSP Rameshwar Karki informed.
The couple was heading toward the east when it was hit by the jeep coming from the opposite direction on Wednesday morning.
