Shiva Maya Tumbahamphe nominated as CC member



KATHMANDU: Former Deputy Speaker Dr Shiva Maya Tumbahamphe has been nominated as a Central Committee member of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP).

A secretariat meeting of the NCP held on Tuesday decided to nominate Tumbahamphe to the post.

Tumbahamphe was picked as the CC member on the eve of the CC meeting.

The NCP CC meeting is scheduled to begin at 11 am at City Hall today.

The close session of the CC will begin at 3 pm.

Tumbahamphe had resigned from her post at the request of the NCP.
