Death toll from coronavirus climbs to 131 in China

KATHMANDU: The death toll from novel coronavirus has reached 131 with 4,600 confirmed cases in mainland China, as the Wuhan coronavirus spreads across Asia.

The virus has also spread globally to more than 17 countries.

Meanwhile, nearly 60 million people are under partial or full lockdowns in Chinese cities.

There are more than 70 confirmed cases in 17 places outside of China, including five in the US.
