Kathmandu Valley witnesses 398 COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: As many as 398 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 324 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 22 in Bhaktapur, and 52 in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, the country recorded a total of 708 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,59,548 in the country as of Tuesday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 6,396 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 731 infected people got recovery from the virus infection. So far, 2,51,312 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, 8 persons succumbed to the virus across the country in the past 24 hours, hitting the total COVID-19 related deaths to 1,840.
